Description of Issue |
Certain IDDD charging codes may not be included in version 9 & 10 V&H billing. Call charging to Mexico and the Caribbean may be affected.

Affected Sites |
Sites with versions 9 & 10 V&H. However, a site that does not use Hitachi call accounting may not be affected, e.g. sites which use external call accounting exclusively. For a list of site numbers with Version 9 or 10 V&H please click here. Please note that these are sites which were shipped with version 9 or 10 V&H or were sent updates to V9 or V10. See corrective actions below if you are uncertain whether a particular update was actually applied.

Corrective Action |
Distributors should take corrective action as soon as possible to eliminate the possibility of guest billing errors.
Three options for corrective action: Instructions for correcting IDDD charging for Caribbean and Mexico:
A. Go to screen 2.1.7.2 and then select item 9 (for "International"). Select F2 - NEXT PAGE twice to advance to the third page (which contains regions 99 and 103). Select F1 - EDIT to change the data. Enter the following operator assist rates:
For region 99 - Initial period = 532 ($5.32) Additional period = 122 ($1.22)
For region 103 - Initial period = 571 ($5.71) Additional period = 239 ($2.39)
or
B. From command mode type the following commands:
GCC:DRAT,SET,CSTS=MSRS,NOC=DDD,TOC=OVRSE,REGN=99,RTIP=532,RTAP=122;
GCC:DRAT,SET,CSTS=MSRS,NOC=DDD,TOC=OVRSE,REGN=103,RTIP=571,RTAP=239;
RCD:SAV;
or
C. From CMAX 2.0 script mode, execute the attached xts file.

Q. Which of my sites is affected?
A. A complete list of sites with versions 9 & 10 V&H is available on the web site. These are listed by site number only to protect distributor /
customer confidentiality. These sites were shipped the affected versions with new systems, as upgrades or as replacement disks.
Q. I am not sure whether I ran the latest V&H update, how can I tell if my system needs to be corrected?
A. Go to the on-line screen 2.1.7.2 and select item 9 for "International'. Select F2 - nest page twice, so that regions 99 and 103 are displayed.. If you see $0.00 for regions 99 and 103, then your system needs correcting. Follow the corrective action section above.
