Helpful Information for Getting To and Getting Around Atlanta |

Accommodations |
Hitachi has arranged with several hotels for special rates, transportation,
and/or other amenities. If you plan to visit Hitachi Telecom for five or more days, please consider the Residence Inn (CLICK HERE). For other alternatives, please see the Hotel Information section below.

Dining |

Breakfast and Lunch: There are a number of restaurants within easy
driving distance of the Training Center. |
|
Dinner: You may want to try restaurants in downtown Atlanta or at Underground Atlanta. Be advised, however, that these vary in price and can be quite expensive. |
|
|
Transportation |
|
Car Rental: A car can be rented at the Airport or at some of the
hotels. |
|
MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority): You can take
the train from the airport to the Doraville MARTA station. The fare
is about $1.50. You will have to have someone meet you at the Doraville
station or take a taxi to your hotel. The cab fare from the station
to the vicinity of Hitachi is about $20.00. |

Shuttle Bus service to and from the airport is available. You can
get information at the airport or from your hotel about these shuttles. |
|
Several hotels provide shuttle bus service to and from the Hitachi
Training Center. Please check with your hotel in advance if you need
this service. |

|
Living Expenses |
Please come prepared for your stay in Atlanta. Bring enough money to
last for the course duration. It is very difficult to cash out of state
checks.

On the web page above, under "Where do you need a hotel?"
enter "Norcross" as the city and "GA" as the state.
In the "Do you require a particular location?"
select "Within: 6 miles" from the drop down list. Then
select the "Address" field and type, 3617 Parkway
Lane. Select any other requirements/features you desire and when
you are finished, click on "Find." A list of hotels
near Hitachi Telecom will appear.
